In the modern world, the country’s competitiveness depends on the level of intelligence of its people. In this regard, the education system should meet the demands of the future. The Education Development Program for 2011-2020 will expand opportunities for receiving quality education that meets international standards.
Higher education

  • 65% of the higher education institutions will undergo national independent institutional accreditation meeting international standards
  • 30% of the higher education institutions will undergo national specialized accreditation
  • The share of university graduates studied under the government scholarships and employed within their specialty during the first year after graduation will reach 78% by 2015 and 80% by 2020

Technical and vocational education                               

  • 30% of colleges will undergo national institutional accreditation
  • The share of VTE institutions graduates studied under the government scholarships and employed during the first year after graduation will reach 78% by 2015 and 80% by 2020

Secondary education                                     

  • Transition to 12-year education system will be completed
  • Electronic education system will be introduced in 50% of schools by 2015 and 90% - by 2020 
  • 160 supporting schools – resource centers for small schools will be established
  • The share of schools providing inclusive education will be increased to 30% by 2015 and to 70% by 2020
  • The number of students who have mastered academic programs on natural and mathematical sciences will increase to 70%
  • Preschool education
  • The overall embracement of children aged from 3 to 6 by preschool education and training will make 100% by 2020
