Kazakhstan, Germany step up trade and economic cooperation
The Kazakhstan-Germany intergovernmental working group opened the 12th session in Berlin with trade and economic cooperation issues at stake, marking the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s first ever participation as the main holder. The Ministry has been seeing to attracting foreign investments and promoting Kazakh exports abroad. Yermek Kosherbayev, the Deputy Foreign Minister – Co-Chairman of the Kazakh part of the intergovernmental working group, spearheaded the Kazakh delegation, meanwhile the German delegation was led by Ekhart Franz, the Deputy Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Co-Chairman of the German part of the working group.
