Over 10 Kazakh airports announce open skies regime
In line with the instructions of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the order of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, the open skies regime at the airports of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Taraz, Petropavlovsk, Semey, is in place starting 1 November 2019. It provides for the removal of restrictions on the number of flights and the fifth-freedom rights to foreign airlines to use flights Kazakh carriers do not run, Stragey2050.kz informs referring to the Civil Aviation Committee.
