First in Kazakhstan genomic laboratory researches liability to diseases
The genomic laboratory, opened in the hospital of the Presidential Administration's Medical Center, conducts research on a predisposition for the development of cancer, diabetes, Down syndrome, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and a number of other serious diseases at the DNA level. Their early diagnosis will help to correct lifestyles to prevent complications and fatal outcome. This was stated by director of the hospital of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Valery Benberin, the Strategy2050.kz correspondent reports.
