Uzbekistan vies to adopt experience from Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture’s IT projects
Kazakh Vice-Ministers of Agriculture Gulmira Issayeva and Nurbek Dairbekov met with a delegation from Uzbekistan headed by Minister of Agriculture Zhamshid Khodzhayev. They introduced the guests to the digitalization projects in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan, in particular, the QOLDAU digital platform for business, a land registry implemented on it, service of electronic grain receipts, electronic subsidies and insurance, digital and satellite monitoring of land, as well as the Situation Center for the agricultural sector, Strategy2050.kz refers to Ministry’s press service.
The Uzbek side was also familiarized with the concepts of introducing electronic agrarian receipts, traceability of animals and food products, as well as the bidaicoin token (an intra-platform digital accounting unit).
The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan thanked his colleagues and suggested creating a similar platform in Uzbekistan with the support of Kazakhstani specialists.

The QOLDAU digital platform for business appeared thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan in 2016. By decision of the Government, its creation was entrusted to the registrar of grain receipts - Information and Accounting Center JSC. The service is developed without attracting budget funds and is fully funded by market participants.
Currently, the platform is used by more than 170 thousand farmers, producers of fertilizers, seeds, herbicides, as well as employees of insurance companies, banks, credit partnerships, government bodies, etc.
25 million hectares of arable land and about 60 million hectares of pasture have been digitized on the platform. With the help of the service, more than 150 billion tenge of subsidies were paid, more than 38 million tons of grain were sold. These platforms are captured using blockchain technology on the QazChain platform.
