Uzbekistan receives $500mln from IBRD for market reforms

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is about to provide a loan worth 500 million dollars to Uzbekistan in support of market reforms, kabar.kg reports.
This was voiced by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his resolution on the measures for carrying out the "Support of market reforms in Uzbekistan" project with the World Bank.
“The maturity is 30 years, including a 5-year grace period,” the statement reads.
The Uzbek Finance Ministry is in charge of the coordination and monitoring of the project, which is implemented jointly by the Central Bank, the State Statistics Committee, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Finance.
