Turkey hosted Turkestan region’s days
Governor’s Office of Turkestan region held “Days of Turkestan region in Istanbul”. As part of the event, entrepreneurs, representatives of government agencies in the tourism sphere and media were familiarized with the tourism potential of Turkestan region. B2B meetings were also held to exchange views on pressing issues in the development of the tourism industry, the formation of an effective mechanism for interaction in the development and promotion of tourism products, Strategy2050.kz has learnt from the Regional Communication Service of Turkestan region.
As a result, a number of cooperation memoranda were signed, namely between: Tourism Administration of Turkestan region - Bursa Business Association “TESIAD”; Tourist Information Center “Turkistan Tourism Center” - Association of Professional Hotel Managers “POYD”; Tourist Information Center “Turkistan Tourism Center” - Tourist Company “FCC Travels” and Tourist Information Center “Turkistan Tourism Center” - Representative Office of Vip Voyage Travel Agency in Istanbul.
Also within the framework of the event, a meeting was held between representative of the Tourism Administration of Turkestan region and head of the Turkistan Tourism Center, Aktanali Ismail, and project director of the Council of Turkic-speaking States, Yersin Aydogan. During the meeting, they discussed the issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, promoting a single tourist route “Modern Silk Road” of the Council of Turkic-speaking states, and improving the quality of service. Following the meeting, the Council of Turkic-speaking states will provide support in training representatives of the tourism sector of Turkestan region.
