Turkestan rgn, Uzbekistan tighten trade relations
The 2nd forum of inter-regional cooperation of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is taking place in the city of Urganch, Uzbekistan, with the participation of the heads of government. The theme of the forum is "Collaboration of regional business in agro-industrial cooperation, industry and tourism", Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Governor of Turkestan region.
In order to further develop trade relations between Turkestan region and Uzbekistan, the sides have signed 3 export contracts worth 50 million dollars.

“So, in the near future, with the support of the Governor’s Office, Turkestan region will begin supplying Uzbekistan with transformer equipment, turkey meat and chilled beef meat”, the message reads.

It should be noted that the forum’s programme includes an exhibition of leading enterprises of the two countries. In addition, travel agencies familiarize forum participants with the tourism potential of our region. According to experts, this forum will help strengthen trade and economic relations between the neighboring countries.
