Tokayev named new governor of Zhambyl rgn

Under the Decree signed by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev former Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev became new governor of Zhambyl region, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Akorda press service.
“To appoint Berdibek Saparbayev as Zhambyl region governor, relieving him of the post of Deputy Prime Minister,” the Decree says.
The region’s former governor Askar Myrzakhmetov left the post upon his request.
