Tokayev discussed railway development with Chairman of KTZh Board

The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has received the Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company, Sauat Mynbayev, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Akorda press service.
The Kazakh President has been updated on the main results of the activities of the company in 2019 and the prospects for the further development of railway transport.
The two have also spoken of some legislative and regulatory aspects of the company.
The meeting has seen the Head of State giving specific tasks, with a focus on the need to increase the volume of cargo turnover, container transit, as well as the share of local content and to improve the quality of passenger traffic.
