Tech Garden Autonomous Cluster Fund, Uzbekistan’s IT-Park sign a memorandum of cooperation

As part of the Digital Almaty 2020 Forum held in Almaty, Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Sadikov visited the Tech Garden Autonomous Cluster Fund, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to Tech Garden.

The minister led a delegation of the Uzbek IT industry, commended the results achieved by the Intellisense-LAB Technology Development Centre, established by Tech Garden with U.K.’s IntelliSense.io to roll out Industry 4.0 in Kazakhstan.

The delegation took an interest in the artificial intelligence platform (AI) brains.app for optimizing the grinding scheme at the Altynalmas gold recovery plant in Aktogay.

The Uzbek delegation also attracted attention of the Technological Development Centre Laboratory BIM+, which is a joint venture of Tech Garden and EcoDomus Inc. The Laboratory is engaged in developments in the field of digitalization of construction, including industrial construction.

Shukhrat Sadikov and Director Farhod Ibragimov of the IT-Park of Uzbekistan got acquainted with a number of Tech Garden startup projects.

The meeting saw a memorandum of cooperation being signed between the Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies of Uzbekistan (IT Park) and Tech Garden by Director of the IT-Park Farhod Ibragimov and General Director of Tech Garden Askar Sembin.

The document is expected to make it possible to exchange start-up teams and IT companies to develop education in the field of the start-up ecosystem, benefit from experiences and practice in the field of technological entrepreneurship, and best practices in implementing such policies in the countries.

The first phase of trips is scheduled for the first quarter of this year.

The Tech Garden Autonomous Cluster Fund was set up with the support of the Kazakh Government and represents a professional environment for the development of innovations demanded by business based on the effective interaction of business, startups, investors, educational and research institutions.
