Tatarstan’s business people were offered to create production in Kazakhstan
Cooperation issues in the field of engineering with Tatarstan businessmen were discussed in Nur-Sultan during an event organized by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, the Governor’s Office of Western Kazakhstan region and the authorized body - PSA LLP, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to Kazakh Invest National Company’s press service.
The forum focused on the creation and development of new domestic industries in Kazakhstan in cooperation with companies of Tatarstan was attended by large engineering companies of Tatarstan, oil and gas operators of Kazakhstan, representatives of Kazakh Invest, state and quasi-state bodies of Kazakhstan.
Kazakh Invest representative Diana Ablyakimova spoke about the country's investment potential, measures of state support to foreign investors and the advantages of investing in Kazakhstan.
“Russia is one of the most important strategic partners of Kazakhstan and a priority country for attracting investments. We are ready to provide full support to investors interested in setting up production facilities in our country, including in finding a local partner, organizing visits and receiving state support,” Diana Ablyakimova said.
In addition, in his speech, General Director of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. Edwin Blom noted that this event is a dialogue platform for exploring the potential of a future partnership. As a result, new ideas and contacts should appear, thus opening up wider opportunities for the joint production of new goods and services.
“Today, we invite manufacturers from Tatarstan who are interested in localizing their goods and services in Kazakhstan to launch the joint production of technological products under the brand name “Made in Kazakhstan,” Edwin Blom said.
At the end of the event, bilateral meetings were held to discuss in more detail the further development of cooperation. In addition, agreements were signed on creating consortia between Kazakh and Tatar companies.
