State Revenue Committee speeds procedures of customs clearance
Taking into account the emergency situation in Kazakhstan from March 16, 2020 to April 15, 2020, to prevent the growth of social tension of the population, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has decided to expedite customs clearance of goods, Strategy2050.kz reports.
To reduce the share of physical control of goods, risk profiles have been updated that include the use of customs screening, selective selection has been reduced for a number of risk profiles, participants in foreign economic activity who have no violations on customs inspections are excluded.
Also, in order to ensure uninterrupted customs clearance of socially significant food products, according to the Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan, the Committee has worked out the issue of exempting companies, which are the main importers of such products, from applying customs control forms.
In this regard, an instruction to take comprehensive measures to ensure unhindered passage of customs clearance of socially significant food products was sent to the territorial bodies of state revenue.
