It is also planned to create laboratories for universities on automation technologies based on Siemens equipment.

In the field of intelligent transmission and distribution of electricity, a roadmap is envisaged to develop the energy sector in Kazakhstan using advanced technologies and equipment, including an approach using digital intelligent energy networks, modern solutions for the transmission of electricity (for example, using high-voltage direct current).

There was also a proposal to create a digital double for the power networks of Nur-Sultan and a number of other large cities of Kazakhstan to help avoid power outages and increase the reliability of power supply in the city.

In the energy sector, it is proposed to consider the transition from traditional gas-fired steam power plants to a combined cycle to increase productivity and fuel economy. It is planned to discuss new projects of gas power plants, wind energy, a strategic partnership for gas turbine and compressor units.

“We attach great importance to the development of business in Kazakhstan, where the company works in all traditional areas of its activities. We hope that cooperation in these areas will be successful and will have a positive impact on the country's economy. The memorandum pays great attention to the development of local competencies, including the training of specialists in working with modern company technologies, which in turn is the key to the application of innovative solutions in industry and in Kazakhstan,” Alexander Liberov said.
