Serbian President accepted credentials from Kazakh Ambassador
A solemn ceremony of accepting the credentials by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić from Kazakh Ambassador Dabit Syzdykbekov took place at Serbia’s Palace on 24 October 2019 in Belgrade, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry informs.
Following the ceremony the Kazakh ambassador updated the Serbian President on the social and economic situation in Kazakhstan, the measures on the country’s reforms and further development put forth by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the September 2019 state-of-the-nation address.
Both pointed out the high potential for bilateral cooperation on all fronts of practical interaction, especially in trade and investment, construction and infrastructure, with a focus on increasing the efficiency of the bilateral Inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation.
The Kazakh ambassador stressed that the signing of the treaty on a free trade zone between the EAEU countries and Serbia would upgrade the trade and economic cooperation among Kazakhstan and Serbia both bilaterally and multilaterally.
The meeting also touched upon the current issues of the development of mutually beneficial contacts in cultural and humanitarian spheres, in particular high and professional education, sport and mutual visits by creative teams.
The Serbian President commended the bilateral relations, expressing the readiness to further strengthen and develop the traditionally friendly relations between the countries and holding mutual visits at high levels.
He wished the Kazakh ambassador success and fruitful work.
