Samruk Kazyna’s net profit risen by 39.5% in 9 months of this year

In the space of 9 months of 2019, Samruk Kazyna National Welfare Fund Group of Companies has outperformed the planned financial performance. There has been the increase in the growth of incomes by 12.7% compared to 9 months of last year. This has been stated at a meeting of the heads of profile companies with the Fund’s Board Chairman Akhmetzhan Yessimov, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to the press service of Samruk Kazyna.

Operating profit (NOPLAT) has risen by 9.6% within the reporting period over the previous year’s same period. The Fund’s net profit has seen a 39.5% rise and reached 1158 billion tenge, far exceeding the planned figure.

Akhmetzhan Yessimov has confirmed KazMunayGas National Company’s plans to go public next year, as well as instructed to follow up to improve the procurement system.

“Improvements in the procurement system enabled to save 121 billion tenge. This year there is a plan to save 153 billion tenge,” he said.

In April 2018, First President Nursultan Nazarbayev adopted the new 2018-28 development strategy of Samruk Kazyna Fund, outlining the major tasks, including profile companies’ effective management and reaching the performance same world companies do.
