“Under the memorandum, joint efforts are planned to implement a number of social projects. We will continue the joint work on the Kamkorlyk program, which was initiated by the First President - Elbasy. I’m sure that through the implementation of such programs, Samruk Kazyna will make its significant contribution to the lives of people in difficult situations who are unable to resolve these issues, which in general will contribute to positive social changes in the country,” Board Chairman Akhmetzhan Yessimov of Samruk Kazyna said.
The Head of Samruk Kazyna emphasized that the Kamkorlyk program will become a vivid example of triangular cooperation between business, government and the non-governmental sector, with Kamkorlyk, being the initiative of Elbasy, providing for wider measures to develop an inclusive society. The first stage involves supporting children with special needs, opening rehabilitation centres and inclusion rooms.
The First President’s Foundation, meanwhile, organizes the training of 171 specialists and advanced training for 49 rehabilitation therapists to open these centres, with Samruk Kazyna due to provide full equipment.
“Our working group travelled to all regions and identified the settlements where rehabilitation centres and inclusion rooms will be located. They will be opened on the basis of existing hospitals, clinics and secondary schools in 8 regions. At the initial stage, we determined the list of equipment needed by specialists, developed training and retraining programs for specialists. Elbasy set us the task - to open rehabilitation centres this year. Without a doubt, this is a lot of work. In this difficult matter, we have such a strong partner as Samruk Kazyna, with which we create the best conditions for children who need a special approach and help them achieve their goals,” Asset Issekeshev, Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan, said.
