Qatar Airways to operate first flight to Kazakhstan in March this year
The Qatar Airways inauguration flight between Doha and Nur-Sultan will be on 30 March 2020, and the flight en route from Doha to Almaty will be in a day – 1 April 2020, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Industrial Development of Kazakhstan.
The Doha-Nur-Sultan flight will be carried out on a Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) aircraft.
Qatar Airways is due to operate regular passenger flights from Doha to Nur Sultan with a frequency of 2 flights per week and to Almaty with a frequency of 4 flights per week on an Airbus-320 aircraft.
The sale of tickets starts on 16 January this year.
With the flights Kazakh passengers will be able to travel to 160 destinations of Qatar Airways.
Qatar Airways, a national airline of Qatar, is one of the largest in the world, with its aircraft fleet consisting of 233 aircraft. The main transit hub of the airline is Doha Hamad International Airport. In 2018 alone, the airline transported about 29 million passengers.
