Presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussed interaction to combat coronavirus spread

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov. The Heads of State discussed cooperation issues to combat the spread of coronavirus, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
According to the Presidents, coordinated actions of the executive bodies of the two neighboring countries are important in the fight against the epidemic.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the prospects for trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the anniversary of his presidency, and also conveyed his good wishes to Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
