President Tokayev received Minister of Information and Social Development
Dauren Abayev reported to the President on work to improve mechanisms of state information policy, strengthen interaction with civil society, develop youth initiatives and projects, as well as planned measures in the sphere of diaspora and religious politics.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to pay special attention to the effective holding of the Year of Volunteer, the creation of effective institutions to support volunteers.
The Head of State noted the great importance of involving civil society in the implementation of the concept of a “hearing state” and the development of instruments of an “open government”.
The President also set the task in the medium term to ensure the adoption of specific measures aimed at supporting Kazakhstan's mass media.
