President Tokayev met with Speaker of Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic
Kazakh Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has attended a meeting with Radek Vondráček, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, who is on an official visit to Kazakhstan, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to the Akorda press service.
Both have discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Czech relations, multilateral interaction: Kazakhstan - the EU, Central Asia - the EU and Central Asia - the Visegrád Group (the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia).
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Radek Vondráček on the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, the 20th anniversary of joining NATO and the upcoming establishment day of the Republic. The President also emphasized that the course towards the further development of relations with the Czech Republic, an important political and economic partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union, is unchanged.
“Your visit is very important not only from the point of view of strengthening interaction between the parliaments of our countries, but also from the point of view of giving a new impetus to bilateral cooperation,” the Head of State emphasized.
In turn, the Czech politician expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality and praised the ongoing reforms in the country.
“I am very pleased, as a representative of the Czech Republic, for the opportunity to confirm the very close and deep relations between our countries, which are developing in the spirit of friendship and traditional cooperation,” Radek Vondráček said.
