President to hold meeting of State commission on ensuring state of emergency

Today, President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will hold a meeting of the State Commission on ensuring the state of emergency, where he is expected to make a statement.
“On May 11, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will hold a meeting of the State Commission on ensuring the state of emergency. The Head of State is going to make a statement at the meeting, which will assess the current situation with the coronavirus and determine the strategy for further actions by the Government and other state bodies after the lifting of the state of emergency”, President’s press secretary Berik Uali informed.
Despite the lifting of the state of emergency, quarantine will continue to operate in the cities and regions, including Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
