President inked decree on prolongation of emergency situation
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree on the prolongation of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan until 07:00 a.m. on May 1, 2020, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
“In accordance with the paragraph 3 of the Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the state of emergency” I HEREBY ORDER:
1. To prolong the state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 15, 2020 No. 285 “On introduction of the state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, until 07:00 am on May 1, 2020.
2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with central and local state bodies shall take the necessary measures arising from this Decree.
3. This Decree shall enter into force from the day of signing”, the text of the Decree says.
