President hands keys to apartments to orphanages’ graduates
Mayor of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev has presented to Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev a draft development strategy “Almaty - 2050”, Akorda’s press service informs.
The program identifies key areas of work for the socio-economic development of Almaty, attracting investments, creating new workplaces, ensuring employment, maintaining public safety, improving the infrastructure of urban outskirts. Prospects for the development of Almaty’s agglomeration were outlined, as well.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev handed over the keys to apartments in the Kokkainar microdistrict to 12 orphans in need of housing.

“I congratulate all of you on your new home! The state will always pay special attention to solving the housing problem. I wish you success!”, the Head of State said.
In general, in the Kokkainar microdistrict, as part of the Nurly Zher program, 51 people from the number of graduates of orphanages in the queue will get apartments in the building under construction.
