Pensions in amount of more than KZT 200 bln paid in January 2020

62.1 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget last month for the payment of the basic pension, and 138.4 billion tenge - for pay-as-you-go pension payments, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.
As of February 1, the number of pensioners is 2 million 222.5 thousand people.
The average amount of pension payments (taking into account the basic pension payment) amounted to 90 502 tenge.
It should be noted that from July 1, 2018, the state basic pension payment is assigned to each recipient individually, taking into account his or her experience in the pension system.
