External debt of Kazakhstan’s banking sector amounts to over 11 billion dollars
As of 30 June 2013 the external debt of the country totaled 145,4 billion dollars: public sector (government obligations and the National Bank) amounts to 5,3 billion dollars or 4% of the gross external debt, inter-company debt totals 70,9 billion dollars or 49%, the debt of banks makes up 11,5 billion dollars or 8%, the press service of the National Bank of Kazakhstan reports.
