Over KZT 17 bln to be paid to large families in January 2020
17.7 billion tenge in January 2020 is provided for the payment of state benefits to large families with four or more cohabiting minor children, Strategy2050.kz refers to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.
For an even distribution of financing of pensions and benefits at second-tier banks, funds will be transferred in stages.
On January 5, 2020, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has transferred 12.5 billion tenge to the State Corporation “Government for Citizens”. In the period from January 5 to 8, the State Corporation “Government for Citizens”, according to the schedule, will transfer the money to the accounts of the recipients.
The remaining 5.2 billion will be directed to the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in the coming days.
It should be noted that from January 1, 2020, Kazakhstan has introduced a new state allowance for families with 4 or more minor children or full-time students under the age of 23 years. This welfare will be paid regardless of family income, in differentiated amounts: with 4 children - 42,496 tenge; with 5 children - 53,127 tenge; with 6 children - 63 757 tenge; with 7 or more children - 74 388 tenge.
In total, in 2020, 177.6 billion tenge is provided for the payment of state benefits to large families. This benefit will receive 346.8 thousand families.
