Over 500 oralmans gained citizenship of Kazakhstan in E Kazakhstan

Ethnic Kazakhs who received the oralman status are given an opportunity to obtain citizenship of Kazakhstan during a year in a simplified manner. But there are frequent cases when the oralmans did not acquire Kazakhstani citizenship during the time provided, the Strategy2050.kz Information Agency gives an explanation to this issue.
Until December 31, 2019, a one-time campaign is held to extend the status of “oralman” to ethnic Kazakhs in order to obtain further citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a simplified manner.
From the beginning of the campaign, 503 people were accepted into the citizenship of Kazakhstan.
