Nursultan Nazarbayev may take part in enthronement of Japanese emperor Naruhito this October
This has been told by Kazakh Senate Speaker Dariga Nazarbayeva during her meetings with parliamentarians of some countries. They also discussed tourism development and investment issues, Strategy2050.kz refers to the Senate.
Chairman of the Kazakhstan-Japan Friendship Parliamentary League, Deputy of the House of Representatives Takeo Kawamura congratulated Dariga Nazarbayeva on her assumption of the presidency of the Senate and shared his warm memory of first Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s 2016 visit to Japan.
On her part, the Senate Speaker informed the Japanese parliamentarians that Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to leave for Japan to take part in the enthronement of Japanese emperor Naruhito in October this year.
“We are waiting him with all our hearts”, Takeo Kawamura responded.
The Senate Speaker has invited the Japanese Deputy to take part in a session of the Upper Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament and urged Japanese businesspeople to create joint projects in Kazakhstan.
The need for developing trade and economic links was in the spotlight of the meetings of the Kazakh Senate Speaker with the heads of parliamentary delegations of Germany, Cyprus, Serbia and Montenegro.
According to the Senate Speaker, Kazakhstan has set up the unique foreign investment protection and foreign business support measures, while additional benefits for foreign entrepreneurs occur through developing trade with the neighbouring countries such as China and Russia.
“Foreign Business Interaction Institutes are of great role. The Foreign Investors Council set up by first Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is a one-of-a-kind institute that enhances its potential”, Nazarbayeva said.
The meetings have also emphasized Kazakh tourism development.
The Senate Speaker believes that the deputy groups of friendship can be of great role in that context.
“Kazakhstan is a stable, safe country, with kind and hospitable people and beautiful nature”, she said.
The current issues of international agenda have come under discussion while meeting with President of the OSCE PA George Tsereteli.
Nazarbayeva stressed that Kazakhstan values the constructive cooperation with the OSCE PA and considers it as an important platform for enhancing trust and promoting parliamentary diplomacy.
Tsereteli has informed about the Organization’s work on strengthening the links among parliamentarians, establishing a dialogue between conflicting parties.
He pointed out that the OSCE supports the first Kazakh President’s initiative on upgrading the OSCE underlying paper the Helsinki Act of 1975 to comply with the modern realities. He welcomed Kazakhstan’s efforts to promote peace and stability both within Central Asia and on the international arena.
Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim and Kazakh Senate Speaker Dariga Nazarbayeva have gone over the security issues. Nazarbayeva expressed gratitude to Kuwait for the assistance during the humanitarian operation aimed at returning the Kazakh citizens trapped in Syria through Kuwait’s airport and military base.
On his part, Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim pointed out the importance of the Kazakh peace-keeping initiatives to settle conflicts, including the Syrian crisis.
