Dear Kazakhstanis!
I congratulate you on the Fatherland Defender’s Day!
On May 7, 1992, I signed the Decree on the establishment of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
Since gaining independence, we have always paid special attention to ensuring the military security of our country, preventing armed conflicts, and developing the Armed Forces.
A strong and efficient army is one of the most important attributes of a sovereign state.
Kazakhstan’s army is equipped with the most modern weapons, exercises on a regular basis. The provision of social support to the military men is of great importance.
People wearing military uniforms worthily perform all the tasks assigned to them, showing valor and courage in peacetime. Today, many of them are at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, protecting the rule of law and taking part in anti-epidemic activities.
I appeal to you, defenders of the Fatherland, protect the tranquility of your native land with honor. Be the example of responsibility, justice and patriotism.
Our common task is to preserve and protect our core values - unity, independence and stability.
Happy holiday, dear Kazakhstanis! I wish you good health, strength and prosperity!
