Nur-Sultan hosted first Kazakh-Jordanian consultations on consular issues

The first round of Kazakh-Jordanian consultations on consular issues took place on 23 December 2019 in the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan. The Kazakh delegation was headed by Director Tauboldy Umbetbayev of the Consular Services Department of the Foreign Ministry, and the Jordanian delegation was led by the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Kazakhstan, Y. Abelgani, the Kazakh foreign ministry informs.

Pressing issues of cooperation in the consular sphere, in particular the protection of the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities of the two countries, the entry/exit and stay of citizens in Kazakhstan and Jordan, the possibility of mutual liberalization of the visa regime, and more, came under discussion.

In general, the consular consultations took place in a constructive atmosphere and in a spirit of mutual understanding.
