Nur-Sultan and Almaty airports stop all flights

Starting April 1, the international airports of Nur-Sultan and Almaty will suspend all passenger international flights, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
Starting at 12:00 am on April 1, Nur-Sultan and Almaty Airports will suspend all international scheduled and evacuation passenger flights.
From this day, international passenger flights will be redirected to other airports in Kazakhstan.
“This measure is aimed at preventing the further spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 among the population of Nur-Sultan and Almaty”, the message reads.
