Nigmatulin spoke in favor of strengthening Kazakh-Czech inter-parliamentary cooperation
Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin and Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Radek Vondráček, who arrived in Kazakhstan for the official visit, discussed issues on strengthening of cooperation between the parliamentarians of the two countries, the press service of the Mazhilis reports.
Having noted that the Czech Republic is one of the key political and economic partners of Kazakhstan among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Nurlan Nigmatulin emphasized that the leadership of Kazakhstan pays great attention to deepening relations with the friendly country.
According to the Speaker of the Mazhilis, there is great potential for the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including in health care, engineering, agro-industrial technologies, green energy.
Speaking about inter-parliamentary cooperation as an important component of bilateral relations, Nurlan Nigmatulin noted the interest of Kazakhstani parliamentarians in strengthening dialogue with the Czech colleagues. According to the Chairman of the Mazhilis, the joint work of relevant committees and cooperation groups will allow for the exchange of legislative experience, primarily on social policy and education, as well as innovative development and digitalization of the economy.
In turn, Radek Vondráček praised the level of the Kazakh-Czech relations.
Nurlan Nigmatulin expressed confidence that the visit of the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament will give a significant impetus to the comprehensive deepening of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Mazhilis congratulated his colleague on the Day of Statehood, which is celebrated in the Czech Republic on October 28, and wished the friendly country well-being and prosperity.
