Nigmatulin held talks with Chairman of the Tatarstan Parliament
Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin and Speaker of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin discussed issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, Strategy2050.kz informs referring to the press service of the Mazhilis.
Having noted that Tatarstan is one of the successful regions of Russia, Nurlan Nigmatulin emphasized that the development of cooperation between the regions of our country and Tatarstan makes a significant contribution to expanding comprehensive Kazakhstan-Russia cooperation as a whole.
The Chairman of the Mazhilis focused on the exemplary nature of the Kazakh-Russian relations, which are based on the effective work and friendship of First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin. At the same time, the Speaker of the Mazhilis emphasized that the activities of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took relations between Kazakhstan and Russia to a new level of strategic partnership and alliance.
In turn, the Chairman of the State Council noted the strong cultural, spiritual and economic ties of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.
As Farid Mukhametshin emphasized, much can be learned from Kazakhstan, since today our country “is developing well, has a strong economy and a confident future”.
The speaker of the Tatarstan Parliament noted the role of First President Nursultan Nazarbayev in establishment of independent Kazakhstan, which mobilized its people for the successful development of the country. Farid Mukhametshin also noted that Head of State Kassym-Jomart-Tokayev effectively continues the course of the First President of Kazakhstan.
Speaking about the interest of our country in expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation with Tatarstan, Nurlan Nigmatulin confirmed the readiness of parliamentarians to provide all possible assistance, providing the necessary legislative support.
Among the promising areas are the automotive industry, shipbuilding, aircraft industry, transport and logistics, information technology.
According to Nurlan Nigmatulin, the strengthening of interaction between the parliamentarians of the Mazhilis and the State Council will contribute to the development of partnership between our country and Tatarstan to solve common problems of mutual interest for Kazakhstan and Russia.
