New vice minister of energy named

By a decree of the Kazakh Government dated February 21, 2020, Kairat Rakhimov has been appointed to the post of the vice minister of energy, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Prime Minister’s press service.
Kairat Rakhimov was born in 1985 in the city of Temirtau, Karaganda region.
He graduated from Karaganda State Technical University, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz and Seoul National University.
His former positions include deputy director at the Department of Electricity and Coal Industry of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, director at the Energy Ministry’s Electricity Department.
