Opening the meeting, the Secretary of State noted that the Bolashak Program is a breakthrough project in the field of human capital development.

At a meeting of the Commission, the report of Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov on the implementation of the protocol instructions of the Republican Commission for the Training of Personnel Abroad was heard, and a number of issues related to the implementation of the Bolashak program were considered.

By the decision of the Commission, the scholarship was awarded to 234 applicants who will undergo training in magistracy and doctoral studies, and will also be sent for internships in leading scientific and industrial organizations in the world.

Following the meeting, the Commission issued a number of specific instructions to increase the efficiency and transparency of the Bolashak international scholarship, taking into account changes in the balance of labor resources based on real prospects for the development of economic sectors.

So, from 2020, new approaches to administering the Bolashak scholarship will be introduced, which include improving and automating the mechanisms for conducting competitive selection, reducing its stages, optimizing the work of the Republican Commission on training personnel abroad, and increasing the responsibility of the working body. In addition, changes will affect academic processes related to the training of fellows.
