More than 7K people became participants of Enbek State Program in Nur-Sultan

Following the results of eight months of 2019, in the city of Nur-Sultan 7,277 people have become the participants of the Enbek State Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021. 4,939 people were employed, of which 2,181 people, or 44% - for permanent work, Strategy2050.kz refers to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.

As part of the first direction of the State Program, which provides for conducting short-term courses for certain categories of citizens in order to instill professional skills in specialties that are in demand on the labor market, 550 people were enrolled in training in Nur-Sultan. After completing the short-term vocational training, employment centers provide assistance to the participants in finding employment.

The main objective of the second direction of the State Program is the development of citizens’ entrepreneurship. Within its framework, state grants in the amount of 100 or 200 MCI are provided free of charge and irrevocable to applicants who are realizing or planning to realize a start-up business and who have not previously received financial support under other state programs. In addition, microloans are issued in rural and urban areas to start-up entrepreneurs with entrepreneurial potential, agricultural cooperatives and their members who have not reached retirement age, and peasant and farm enterprises. Within the framework of the Bastau-Business project, micro-credit recipients are trained in the basics of entrepreneurship.

In the city of Nur Sultan, microcredits covered 48 people. 39 state program participants received state grants in the amount of up to 100 MCI, and 10 people in the amount of up to 200 MCI (youth, members of low-income and large families, able-bodied people with disabilities).

The third direction of ​​the State Program provides for the creation of state-subsidized jobs for the employment of certain categories of citizens. As part of its implementation, 2,930 people were employed in Nur-Sultan, including 152 people for social jobs, 780 people for youth practice, and 1,998 people for community service.
