Mazhilis Chairman held talks with the Ambassador of Greece to Kazakhstan
Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin has received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Greece to Kazakhstan Adam-Georgios Adamidis to discuss wider issues of Kazakh-Greek interaction, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Mazhilis’s press service.
Nurlan Nigmatulin has pointed out that Greece is an important partner of Kazakhstan in Europe and that the Kazakh leadership has always paid and attaches great importance to the development of comprehensive cooperation with Greece.
In turn, Adam-Georgios Adamidis has said that Greece observes with great interest all the changes taking place in Kazakhstan that turned the country into a center of peace and stability in Central Asia.
The interlocutors have marked the positive dynamics of trade relations, the growth of mutual interest of business circles of the two states, leading to the increase in bilateral trade. Among the promising areas are tourism, alternative energy.
The strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation is also in focus. The Mazhilis Chairman has expressed confidence that the constructive work of the Kazakh and Greek parliamentarians will contribute to the comprehensive development of bilateral relations.
