KTZ Express organized regular container train dispatch from China to Turkey via Kazakhstan in record time
KTZ Express in cooperation with ADY Container (Azerbaijan), GR Logistics (Georgia) and Pasifik Eurasia Logistics (Turkey), organized the regular container dispatch from China to Turkey via the Trans-Caspian route through Kazakhstan, Strategy2050.kz reports with the reference to Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
A train consisting of 43 forty-foot containers with various cargoes, arrived on the territory of Kazakhstan through the Altynkol station. Further, on the Beket-Ata feeder ship, the cargo was delivered from the Aktau port to the Azerbaijan port of Alyat, from where it departed to the Georgian station Akhalkalaki and further to the Turkish city of Izmit.
The total travel time was 14 days. It is noteworthy that the train covered the route from Altynkol station to Akhalkalaki station in a record 10 days.
Despite some restrictions in connection with the epidemiological situation, the transportation of goods along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) is carried out without interruption in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards.
Participants of the dispatch note that the delivery of this container train is an example of strategic cooperation between the railway administrations of several countries.
