Kazinform and Italian ANSA news agency signed coop memorandum
The signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Kazinform International News Agency and Italy’s ANSA News Agency has taken place in Nur-Sultan. The document was signed by Kazinform CEO Askar Umarov and CEO Stefano de Alessandri of ANSA News Agency, Strategy2050.kz correspondent reports.
“The important memorandum has been signed, kick-starting cooperation with Italy’s News Agency ANSA. Under the document, a heading will be run on ANSA’s webpage both in English and Italian, while news about Italy will be updated on Kazinform’s site. Italy has a great interest in the Kazakh economy and the tourism sector”, Askar Omarov said.
According to the CEO of Kazinform, ANSA became the 43rd in the list of international partners of Kazinform.
The memorandum is due to provide information to the Italian audience about Kazakhstan for a better understanding and development of the businesses. It also will also help Italian residents to better understand the laws of the country.
“Our agency seeks to establish links with all world news agencies. We hope that this memorandum will allow for a better understanding between the peoples of the two countries, as well as for business development”, Stefano de Alessandri, CEO at the ANSA agency, said.
INA Kazinform is the fifth international news agency with which ANSA concluded a memorandum. The Italian agency actively cooperates with such world agencies as Agence France-Presse, Agencia EFE, Xinhua, and TASS. 6 January this year, marked the agency’s 75th anniversary.
