KAZGUU and Heriot Watt University launched Dual Award Program
Higher School of Economics at M.Narikbayev KAZGUU University signed a Dual Award Program Agreement with one of the UK prestigious universities. Now, being a student of Kazakhstan’s university, it’s possible to get the opportunity to continue studying at Heriot Watt University, on the campuses of Edinburgh, Dubai and Malaysia, Strategy2050.kz reports.
This agreement provides a unique opportunity to fully immerse in the life of foreign countries: make new friends and, possibly, establish future business contacts from around the world, as well as deepen your knowledge of foreign languages and gain international experience.
“It’s not a secret for anyone you need to get a high-quality education in order to build a successful career. And if a graduate has experience studying abroad, he will certainly become even more competitive. One of the opportunities to study abroad is the Double Degree Program”, Bakhytgul Turlubayeva, the Head of the International Cooperation and Recruiting Center at HSE KAZGUU said.
According to her, the uniqueness of the agreement is that while studying at home and abroad, students simultaneously receive two diplomas.
“We are pleased to see further development in our partnership with the KAZGUU Higher School of Economics. We have developed partnerships that are mutually beneficial for students in Kazakhstan and the UK through undergraduate programs in Accounting and Finance. This agreement will be fundamental to the international cooperation and internationalization of both states”, Jared Philippi, International Project Manager said.
