Kazakhstan won one more medal at Military World Games

Athlete of the Central Sports Club of the Army of the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan Bayan Akbayeva won the bronze medal, thereby becoming the first official medalist of the boxing tournament as part of the 7th Military World Games taking place in China.
In the semifinals in the weight category up to 69 kilograms, she lost to world champion from China Dan Dou.
“Army boxers who have successfully passed the quarterfinal matches will compete for six more medals - Temirtas Zhussupov (up to 49 kg), Dilmurat Mizhitov (up to 64 kg), Aslanbek Shymbergenov (up to 69 kg), Timur Nurseitov (up to 75 kg), Ayat Marzhikpayev (up to 81 kg) and Abzal Kuttybekov (up to 91 kg)”, the CSKA press service reports.
