Kazakhstan won first license for Paralympic Games 2020
Para taekwondo player Nurlan Dombayev has become the first to receive a license for the Paralympics in Tokyo, Strategy2050.kz refers to the press service of the National Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan.
The athlete became the leader of the World Ranking in the K43 category up to 75 kg in accordance with the qualification selection for the Paralympic Games 2020.
Nurlan Dombayev is a two-time world champion, a three-time Asian champion and a two-time European champion. In 2019, the athlete won 3 gold and 1 silver medals: gold at the World Championships, the Open Asian Championships, the Open European Championships and silver at the African Championships.
Also in 2019, Nurlan Dombayev became the “Best Paralympic Sports Athlete” according to the Altyn Samgay National Sports Award.
