Kazakhstan takes second place in Jiu-Jitsu’s world ranking
The International Jiu-Jitsu Federation named Kazakhstan as one of the best countries in the development of jiu-jitsu. The decision to award the silver medal was announced at the General Assembly of the JJAU Asian Union in the framework of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi with the participation of representatives of 36 countries actively promoting this kind of sport, Kazakhstan’s Jiu-Jitsu Association informs.
Kazakhstan’s athletes were awarded by President of the JJIF Federation Panagiotis Theodoropoulos.
It should be noted that in February next year Almaty region will host a unique event - joint training of the members of foreign national teams. Athletes are attracted by the clean mountain air and the beautiful nature of the region. It is expected that more than 200 people will come to the training camp.

By the way, at the last World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi, Kazakhstani athletes won 3 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze medals. The country was represented by young athletes and members of the national team of Kazakhstan.
