Kazakhstan signs air service agreements with Finland, Bahrain

The Kazakh delegation held the negotiations with the aviation authorities of Finland and Bahrain on December 3, 2019, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Administration informs.

Flights between the countries are due to run 14 times a week - 7 flights en route Helsinki to Nur-Sultan, and 7 flights en route Helsinki to Almaty as part of the open skies regime, introduced following the Head of State’s instruction.

Finnair Airlines has been running flights to Nur Sultan for 3 years.

The negotiations also took place with the aviation authorities of Bahrain.

Under the agreement Bahrain airlines can operate regular flights to 11 Kazakh airports (Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Taraz, Petropavlovsk, Semey) without restrictions and using fifth freedom of the air.

Both countries’ airlines are free to conclude commercial agreements on share-code flights.
