Kazakhstan’s aviation administration warns against sale of intl flight tickets
In connection with the sale of international flight tickets to/from Kazakhstan on the websites of airlines and intermediaries (aggregators), given the international practice of applying the depth of sale several months before the flights, the sale of international flight tickets is not regulated and is not restricted, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.
"In this regard, the sale and purchase of international flight tickets to/from Kazakhstan is not a confirmation of the resumption of international flights and does not guarantee the passenger a flight on the chosen route and flight date.
The resumption of regular passenger flights to international destinations depends on the epidemiological situation, restrictions on crossing the State border of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, as well as visa requirements of States.
The decision to resume international flights will be made by the Interdepartmental Commission on preventing the occurrence and spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as depending on the removal of restrictions on movement by foreign countries", the message reads.
