Kazakhstan proposed issues of cooperation in agriculture with European states
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting of Vice Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Issayeva with the Ambassadors of European states, Startegy2050.kz refers to the Ministry’s press service.
Gulmira Issayeva informed the diplomats about the investment policy of the Ministry of Agriculture in the framework of the State Agro-Industrial Complex Development Program for 2017-2021.
To promote the interests of domestic business in the trade sphere with European countries, as well as develop agreed decisions, the Kazakh side proposed important issues of bilateral cooperation, including:
- attracting internationally recognized organizations of the European Union to open branches for certification of production of organic products produced in Kazakhstan;
- study of the integration of the information system “EACU” with the European Information System “TRACES”;
- coordination of forms of veterinary certificates for the supply of Kazakhstan livestock products to the EU market (honey, meat and dairy products);
- study of the issue of mutual informing between Kazakhstan and European states on the issued phytosanitary certificates in mutual trade.
