Kazakhstan launches vaccine against camelpox
The Research Biology and Biotechnology Institute has conducted tests and launched the vaccine against camelpox, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
As previously reported, based on the results of laboratory studies of the RSE “National Reference Center for Veterinary Medicine” Beineu, Tazhen and Syngyrlau rural districts locked down.
There were no cases of camels’ loss, but the animals were isolated and monitored by the veterinary departments of the Mayor’s Offices and the territorial inspection of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
“In the identified foci, specialists from the Mangistau branch of the Republican State Enterprise “Republican Anti-Epizootic Detachment” carry out disinfection work”, the message reads.
In addition, the domestic research institute of biology and biotechnology problems conducted positive tests and launched the vaccine against camelpox. In accordance with the legislation, the Veterinary Control and Oversight Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan carries out its registration.
