Kazakhstan-Armenia coop discussed in the Kazakh Senate
A meeting was held in the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament with Deputies Alimzhan Kurtayev, Mikhail Bortnik, Eric Sultanov and Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan Gagik Galachyan present, the Senate press service informs.
A wide range of issues was considered to develop bilateral relations concerning transport and logistics routes and promoting business opportunities.
The topic of legislative regulation of the temporary export of precious metals from Kazakhstan to Armenia was separately considered.
The parties also discussed the holding of the Kazakhstan-Armenia business forum, to be held in 2020.
The sides decided to create a working group to analyze and develop proposals on the issues discussed. On November 14, the Chairwoman of the Kazakh Senate, Dariga Nazarbayeva, paid an official visit to Armenia, during which issues of further expansion of Kazakh-Armenian relations in the economic and humanitarian spheres were discussed.
