KazakhExport backs exporters from Kostanay rgn
Ruslan Iskakov, Board Chairman of KazakhExport, visited Kostanay region, where he discussed the export potential of the region with Governor Arkhimed Mukhambetov, Strategy2050.kz reports referring to the press service of the company.
Since 2017, KazakhExport has supported 11 enterprises in Kostanay region for a total of 46.5 billion tenge, mainly engineering and food industries. The company supported such enterprises as SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, Bayan Sulu JSC, K-Oil LLP, Prombaza-7 LLP, Arasan Firm LLP and others.
KazakhExport promotes the growth of exports of non-primary goods in priority sectors of the economy, forms the practice of financial-insurance and non-financial support for Kazakhstani enterprises.
“We intend to further expand our support for non-primary products and help increase the volume of export revenues of enterprises in Kostanay region”, Ruslan Iskakov said during the meeting with the Governor.
In the structure of the region’s foreign trade turnover, export deliveries last year grew by 15% and reached 49% or 1.1 billion dollars. Producers of Kostanay region sell their products in Russia, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, China and Iran.
Processing products accounted for 20% of exports or 234.9 million dollars for January-November 2019. Growth is demonstrated by such positions as vehicles and spare parts - by 6.4 times, pasta - by 23%, dairy products - by 12.2%.
Looking back, recently KazakhExport has signed the Agreement and implemented a deal in order to expand the export markets of the Kostanay automobile manufacturer SaryArkaAvtoprom LLP.
